About Load Testing
RPM is a commonly known measure, in revolutions per minute, of engine speed. The vehicle's manufacturer determines the maximum permissible engine speed and marks that speed on the tachometer, in the form of a red line. A driver does not need to understand what a revolution is, or the internal tolerances that will be compromised under a given load, but simply knows that it is important not to push the engine over it's red line. At RPM Solutions, we test the performance of your technology, in it's current configuration, and report on it's performance under varying levels of load. We can then identify and report on your technology's red line. This limit can then be incorporated into your capacity plan, or can be extended by executing a Tuning Cycle Test.
